Computer Systems
Description:The E-Series computers had the same basic architecture as the M-Series machines. The primary difference was in processing speed. The E-Series incorporated a technology "Variable Microcycle Timing" (VMT) which allowed the computer to allocate its fastest data paths (175 nanoseconds) to the most commonly used operations. This technology gave the E-Series about twice the processing power of the M-Series. The E-Series computers also offered optional high-speed memory cycle times of 350 nanoseconds, compared with 650 nanoseconds on M-Series memory. 21MX E-Series - Documentation21MX-ESeriesTechData-5pages-Mar78.pdf 0.097 MBHPJOURNAL1977mar-ESeries-30PAGES.pdf 0.733 MB 21MX-ESeries-InstallationAndServiceManual-2109A-2113A-02109-90002-130pages-Aug76.pdf 2.055 MB 21MX-ESeries-2109B-2113BInstallationAndServiceManual-02109-90015-68pages-Feb83.pdf 1.133 MB 21MX-ESeries-Microprogramming-ReferenceManual-02109-90004-365pages-Mar77.pdf 3.112 MB 1000Computer_InstallationAndServiceManual_02170-90006-28pages-Mar77.pdf 0.331 MB GettingStartedWithHP1000_Model_20_21_02173-90006-52pages-Jun77.pdf 0.525 MB 1000_ComputerSystem_InstallationAndServiceManual_02170-90006_27pages_May78.pdf 0.374 MB 1000_E-SeriesAndF-Series_Microprogramming_ReferenceManual_02109-90004_413pages_Jul78.pdf 3.156 MB 21MX_E-Series_OperatingAndReferenceManual_02109-90001_116pages_Jul77 5.877 MB |
